Global Innovation Game for Entrepreneurship

Do you have a brilliant idea that can be transformed to a business? Then take part in the Global Innovation Game on Facebook and stand a chance to win a range of prizes.
Entrepreneurs across the world have an opportunity to play for free in the Global Innovation Game (GiG), the official game of Global Entrepreneurship Week.
To play the game participants are required to have a Facebook account and be logged in.  Players are then required to pitch an idea on how to solve the problem presented to them. The idea should be convincing enough to the other participants who can then invest in it by the use of ‘game currency.’
Africa Report signed in to the Africa Report Facebook page to play the game and was asked: how would you bring clean drinking water to communities that need it most?
Participants with the top valued solutions will receive prizes, such as expert advice in drafting and developing a business plan, marketing services and hardware such as computers or printers valued at $750 US Dollars. They will also receive assistance in accessing financing and connecting with investors.
The competition has three categories namely, Transport, Health and Energy. Players will not only compete but also interact and communicate with other participants from across the globe for the next year.
The game , which has been introduced by the Global Mind Games, a company that produces social games, is expected to have more categories in the future, including education and the environment.
The winners will be announced on 21 November 2010.
