Entrepreneurs and business executives in South Africa have until 6th May 2011 to submit entries for the African Access National Business Awards 2011.
The African Access National Business Awards is an award ceremony that will recognise and honour top companies and stakeholders in business. The prestigious business awards deemed to be the ‘Oscars’ of South African business will be held on June 23 at Sandton Convention and is expected to attract a turn out of over 500 entrepreneurs, executives and Government officials.
Finalist and winners of the awards will receive media coverage, network and interact with other business leaders and raise the profile of their organisations.
Now in its ninth year the awards has 20 categories, among them the Fast Growth SMME and Fast Growth Company which will honour companies that have recorded impressive performance growth.
Other award categories include Top Performing Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Top Performing Businessman of the Year Award, Top Performing Businesswoman of the Year Award and Top Performing Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
To be eligible for the awards one has to submit financial statements for the last three years and should indicate profits and business growth. Compliance with best practices, ISO 9001 certification, productivity and innovation are also winning points. Entries should be accompanied with a motivation letter.
