About ICCO

Policy emphasis may differ from country to country depending on local political and economic conditions, but ICCO aims to provide basic social services by facilitating access to decent education, healthcare, water and food provision; economic development, by improving the income of small-scale entrepreneurs and their families in developing countries; democracy and peace, by supporting initiatives that further a stable political situation and the emancipation of underprivileged groups. In support of these programmes, ICCO provides aid via funding (via Impulsis), emergency aid (via ACT Alliance) and lobbying (via politicians and policy makers) for companies and entrepreneurs who fulfill ICCO’s selection criteria.
