Kenya: MedExpo 2011

The African continent has emerged as a leader and key player in the global medical industry, and this year’s annual MedExpo event will be taking place in Nairobi, Kenya from 26 to 28 November. The conference is expected to attract medical industry personnel from more than 25 countries around the world, as well as give exhibitors and service providers the opportunity to showcase more than 10 000 medical industry-related products.
Key industries being represented at the MedExpo include hospital supplies, optometry, dental care, equipment, consumables and many others from importers and manufacturers from countries such as India and South Africa to United Arab Emirates and Germany. This year is the 15th year that the conference has been held, and the MedExpo has highlighted Africa as a major player in the medical field.
We are pleased to be able to actively support this positive growth with our event. We provide all the industry’s representatives from around the globe with a joint platform and have been doing so for 15 years. We believe that MedExpo Kenya will continue to make an important contribution to promote foreign trade and build a strong platform for importers of medical instruments in Africa,” says Max Carnell from organiser ExpoGroup.
Exhibitors at the event include major and minor medical companies from around the world, and speakers will cover many aspects in the medical industry, including both of a product and service-based nature and business-wise. The event will also give manufacturers and buyers the chance to network and establish new trade links, as well as conclude business deals that will promote economic growth in the industry.
As the expo is medically orientated, guests, delegates, speakers and exhibitors will include hospital staff, doctors, pharmacists, entrepreneurs in the medical industry as well as other business enterprises that provide services and products to the healthcare environment.
