South Africa: South Africa Investment Forum

The inaugural South Africa Investment Forum will take place from 29 to 30 March at the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront in Cape Town. The forum will assess African investment trends, advising investors how best to exploit the most attractive market sectors.
In the last few years, the African continent has come to the front as a leading contender for global economic investment, thanks to a number of factors such as available resources, raw materials, a fairly stable and steady economy, and an ever-increasing supply of labour.
However, businesses can’t just walk into Africa and start operating – there are a number of factors that need to be taken into consideration and assessed, and the easiest way to do this is by using specialised expertise from within the markets. And this is what this two-day summit hopes to address… introducing international investors to the African economies and assisting them in setting up agreements and building bridges towards future investment. South Africa is one of the continent’s most advanced and developed countries, and as such it is favoured to host an event of this stature.
The agenda at the South Africa Investment Forum is already set out and is overflowing with debates and discussions on the most important concerns, trends, opportunities and challenges that are faced by investors and business people on the continent, as well as other topics such as improving long-term performance, controlling total investment costs, exploring the best investment opportunities, future strategies and efficiency measures. There will be ample opportunity for investors and businesspeople from around the continent and globe to network at the summit, among them asset managers, hedge fund companies, consultancies, private equity firms, sovereign wealth fund enterprises, law firms, medical aids, corporate and public sector representatives and more.
The two days will kick off bright and early, and each discussion session will be led by experts in various fields, including the likes of the Independent Consultant and Principal Officer of Castle Consulting Solutions CC, the Chief Investment Officer of Investment Solutions, the Senior Africa Forecaster of Exclusive Analysis and many others. They will bring their knowledge base and expertise to the table during these sessions and give the delegates and participants access to concepts, insight and information that they wouldn’t normally be privy too. All in all, it looks like South Africa Investment Summit is going to give investment in Africa continent a boost to remember.
