1. Pharmacists have always been sought after, even more so today given the world’s medical problems. As more and more people fall ill and succumb to illnesses such as cancer and HIV, more and more pharmacists are needed to provide medicines for them.
2. Online marketing directors have come to the fore as more and more companies move into the digital age with websites, online stores, blogs and social networking. This is another avenue where advertising revenue can be brought in and it needs to be managed correctly.
3. Business is no longer limited to nationally and these days more and more business people are travelling overseas. As a result, hotels are popping up all over the place and require competent hotel managers. If you can run a hotel properly, finding a job won’t be difficult in 2012.
4. Construction has boomed over the last few years and will for years to come. And like hotel management, project managers are highly sought after at building sites. When millions upon millions are invested in a building being completed on time, only the best will do.
5. With the move of everything into the digital age, there is a need for digital publishers who know what they’re doing to get the content online for businesses in the correct format. Anyone can push the “publish now” button on software, but only a true digital publisher is able to put together a digital plan and structure that will meet the company’s needs and achieve their goals.
6. Education has always been key to the world. With more and more education institutions popping up, the need for qualified and competent educators has also increased.
7. Physical therapists are the same as pharmacists; the need for these professionals has increased because of the increased demand of health care professionals.
8. Engineers are more in demand than ever these days thanks to the growing global economies. In every field you can think of, from building construction and bridge building to mechanical and scientific engineering.
There are a number of professions that guarantee a job. The problem is that you need to be passionate about your industry and be in love with your job. If you’re not, you’ll hate every minute of work, and then all the money in the world will do little to make you feel better.
