GroFin invests in the value potential of entrepreneurs who own businesses at any stage of development across all sectors in Africa’s economies. And that’s just the starting point, as the company continues to facilitate quality education for its clients.
The company is a leading multi-national financier and advisor to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), assisting entrepreneurs by providing financial aid from as little as $50 000 up to as much as $1 million, Through this investment, GroFin aims to create sustainable wealth, employment and economic growth by developing successful small to medium-sized businesses. By doing this, they aim to provide attractive returns for the stakeholders.
GroFin’s consultants evaluate the applicants and assess whether or not they make good candidates for financial assistance. Part of this assessment is to look at whether or not the applicant has the necessary education, be it formal or informal, to operate and manage their enterprise. If not, there is a good chance that GroFin will also assist them with getting the education that they need to become successful business people. This includes basic education as well as business education that will help them to keep control of their business, conclude new agreements with suppliers and customers, as well as a number of other business-related matters.
The business owners are then able to train their own staff and provide further education to their community, thereby increasing education and social upliftment through their communities, all thanks to assistance from GroFin. Another side of the GroFin financial aid is that entrepreneurs who want to open education institutions but are short of funding are also able to apply for assistance. As with all other applicants, they will need to present detailed and complete business plans and prove that they are capable of managing these institutions as though it was any other business.
The need for education in Africa is rising at a dramatic rate, while the availability of education institutions and teachers cannot always accommodate this need. Through its aid and financial assistance to SMEs, GroFin has provided not only funding for entrepreneurs to realise their business dreams, but also education that has helped them become
better businesspeople and more holistic individuals, not to mention financial assistance to entrepreneurs who have dreamt of opening education institutions around the continent.

Thanks to the Africa Report members, your education is of great importance. I just want to know how is it easy to get loans from USAID and other donors to either start up a business or develop it. I am in Tanzania and hoping to schedule a small publication on industries.

I need assistance in financing a conference centre with all the facilities that go with such an arrangement. Land for such development is readily available and is on title. I would greatly appreciate if I could be guided on how find financiers in form of partners, investment angels or a loans that could easily be accessed.

I am absolutely pleased to learn about your institution which aims to support entrepreneurs of varied levels in Africa. Of course, the idea of supporting African entrepreneurs both financially and educationwise need not to be over-emphasized, as it is the only option for real progress and sustainability of Africa’s economies. Being one among many SME entrepreneurs in Africa, I would like to know where can I get access to your support and services. We are a company based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, processing and supplying tropical timber and their byproducts to meet local market demand as well, as exports to foreign markets.
I would finish by requesting you to give me your full contacts in Tanzania or else where, where I can get in touch with you to learn how to benefit from your support.
