2. Be Time Effective
Time management is very important otherwise you risk damaging both your work and business. Work out how much time you are left with in a day after completing all your work duties. Allocate the remaining time to running the business. Having a clear plan will be helpful. Don’t work hard, work smart.
3. Be Honest
As long as your business is not a competitor to your employer, it is okay to let your boss know about your business. However, also ensure you deliver at work so that it does not seem like you are doing a substandard job because of your business.
4. Respect Your Employer
You will often get the temptation to run a few business errands while at your place of work. Don’t. While at work do what you employer expects of you. Do not use your employer’s equipment like phones and printer to do your personal business.

6. Seek Advice
You are likely to feel overwhelmed at some point. Do not give up just yet. Talk to a few entrepreneurs. You will get valuable advice and encouragement.
