SME Entrepreneurs given a helping hand

Small and medium-sized business entrepreneurs are making headway around the world thanks to conferences and trade shows organised by the likes of BiD Network.

You have a business idea. You know what you want to do. But how do you get there? Where do you get the financial backing to turn your dreams into reality?

The BiD Network organisation should be your first stop. The organisation assists entrepreneurs and business people from around the world to organise themselves and restructure their business plans in order to get the financial assistance that they require to start their ventures.

Their most recent expo was called “Growing SMEs: It’s Time To Invest”. It was held in the Netherlands and gave entrepreneurial hopefuls the opportunity to meet one another, swap stories and information, as well as be introduced to bigger enterprises that also encourage entrepreneurial success and growth. The entrepreneurs are given booths in which they install their presentations and are able to show potential investors their business ideas, plans and dreams.

BiD Network sends invitations to entrepreneurs with viable opportunities; at Growing SMEs, 60 business hopefuls were brought together (some 30 of those being from Africa, which shows what tremendous potential our continent has in the business world) and met with experts in the financial fields, including Princess Maxima of the Netherlands, who has studied micro finance. But it’s not only a case of overseas investors looking to buy into Africa’s business talent; wealthy African individuals and businesses make up a large portion of the investor catalogue; this allows them to invest in their own people and provide a better lifestyle and economy for their countrymen.

Entrepreneurs need financial assistance, be it a small amount of $25 000 or a larger amount. There are businesses and individuals who have these resources available – all they need is to be introduced to the businesspeople of the future to turn dreams into reality.
