USA: Kellogg Africa Conference 2012

On 31 March 2012, the greatest business minds will converge on the shores of Lake Michigan for the third annual Kellogg Africa Business Conference, hosted by Northwestern University.
The focus of this year’s conference at the James LAllen Centre of the Kellogg School of Management will be to bring attention to the African continent’s growth during the world’s global recession and how its potential can be unlocked further in the future.
The conference is a respected and accomplished student-run event that brings to the forefront key business issues that will benefit the African continent in the global marketplace. Last year’s event was a success down to the well-organised agenda and programming which included keynote addresses by business leaders, policy makers, industry heads and academics, not to mention panel discussions and interactive topic debates where delegates were invited to discuss issues that affect Africa and its trade within the global community.
This year’s event looks to build on the previous two events with its main topic: unlocking Africa’s potential. It will provide delegates with opportunities to not only debate and discuss, but also discuss opportunities to network with industry peers and view products and services that are related to trade with Africa. This networking is vital as it allows delegates to build bridges, conclude agreements and bring forward new relationships that will hopefully prove fruitful in the future. The key to good business in the future is to start preparing now – there is no point in waiting or hesitating; the sooner we can come together as one, the sooner we can all advance and find the key to being a better marketplace for everyone.
