Health Plus Pharmacy Expands in Nigeria

Health Plus is a growing entrepreneurial business. In the capable hands of Bucky George, this venture is set to expand into a major retail group in the next ten years.
Confident and capable, Bukky George is a trail-blazing businesswoman. Setting up a retail chain of pharmacies, this entrepreneur is one savvy sister.

Bukky George: Owner of Health Plus Pharmacy

Bukky has learnt all the basics about business practice from books. To start up her enterprise, Bukky gained much of what she knows through reading. She is passionate about knowledge and a firm believer in its capacity to empower the individual. As someone always ready to sharpen her skills and expand her expertise, she continues to draw practical advice from her favourite publications. Equipped with an enquiring mind and a vision, she is a self-taught entrepreneur.
Bukky is currently the owner and managing director of Health Plus, a pharmacy store with six branches located in Nigeria. A driven director, she has a major mission for this retail group. She hopes to broaden the number of stores to 50 nationwide within the next ten years. For the moment, however, Health Plus is expanding with three more stores on the go. To begin this development, Health Plus received assistance from Grofin.  Grofin is a financing organisation that loaned Bucky the money necessary to grow her business. This financial plan took a percentage of her turnover which was used to pay for the new stores.
In the midst of this progress, Bukky’s focus has been to ensure that the extension of the chain will not affect the company’s level of service. Quality is something that Bukky considers a major selling point for success in the retail industry. This not only includes offering excellent products but paying attention to customer service as well.
In line with Bucky’s insistence that information can help people, she makes sure that Health Plus does more than just provide medicine. At Health Plus, the staff are trained to interact with customers in order to gain better insight into their ailments. This process assists buyers in selecting the correct medication, and encourages clients to have a better understanding of their own complaints. Bukky is certain that this approach to the retail of pharmaceuticals plays an important part in educating consumers.
A sophisticated woman of business, Bukky George tackles business with a bold attitude, a broad smile, and of course, a book.
